Re-reading Ayn Rand’s “The Fountainhead.” I love this book. Just finished the scene at the Dean’s office. Great interaction there. Love the dialogue. The first real introduction to Howard Roark.

Just went to the Book Exchange on Washington St. Great shop. Great prices. I hope they stick around. I definitely intend to shop there more.

But they don’t have a credit card line yet, so I had to go try to get cash out of three different goddamn ATMs. First two were “being serviced.” At two separate locations.

Dreams and Overdoses

Had a dream last night involving Jesse. Hadn’t dreamed of him in a while, but it was almost like a bunch of us from high school were going through the spirit world to find him and make sure he was ok. Mark was telling us how he was getting his life back together before he died. How he was just drinking a lot of alcohol but staying away from the drugs, but on the night he overdosed he took 13 Xanax pills.

Jesse really overdosed on Methodone.

As far as I can remember, Jesse was in the ocean, in the dream, floating out on a buoy. I think he was ok. I hope so.

Then this morning, wake up to find out that Ben’s friend, (as well as Brandon and Benji’s friend) Sam had died from a drug overdose last night sometime.

It’s an odd coincidence that I dream about my buddy who overdosed on the night that some of my friends lost their good friend (or old friend) to a drug overdose.

A blog wherein I ramble, uncensored, unadvertised, unrestrained. A man needs an outlet. Sure, I’ve got Facebook. I’ve got Twitter. But it seems like everyone’s always expecting you to be who they want you to be, and when you bare your soul, contrary to their expectations concerning your identity, you get sharp-fanged feedback.

So here’s my thoughts. A space to share ‘em. I didn’t invite you here. So if you don’t like ‘em, there’s the door. But if you do, I don’t mind if you keep readin’.
